Choose Your BTMS Configuration

Below you can select a BTMS configuration that best matches your testing needs.

Important notice

The BTMS configurator offers a limited selection of standard options. If the configurator does not include the options you need, please contact us via the contact form and describe your request. Our technician will get in touch with you to arrange the details. If you provide a phone number, the technician will contact you by phone.

How to Configure BTMS

1. Select the Base System

In the base configuration, you must select a barrel unit (caliber) and a chamber type according to the cartridge you intend to test. After selecting the caliber, the available chamber options will appear. After selecting the chamber, you must click the add button. This forms the base configuration and is fully included in the base startup price. If you use multiple calibers or multiple cartridge types and want to test them as well, you can select an additional chamber. Each additional selection is charged separately.

2. Add Additional Barrel Units
If you work with multiple calibers, you can add them to the configuration in the “Additional Barrel Units” section. Each barrel unit requires a corresponding chamber. This option becomes available after selecting the barrel unit caliber. You may also select multiple chamber types for the cartridges you use. If you need to add additional calibers, proceed in the same way. All additional components are charged separately and their price is shown during selection.

3. You can upgrade the Measurement Class
Measurement Class 3
is configured so that we can offer it free of charge with the full system. It is intended for comparative measurements. It can measure and record values in the report, but it is designed mainly for comparison within small test series and cannot reliably compare separate series with each other. These sensors cannot be calibrated.
Measurement Class 2 provides higher quality sensors that can be calibrated, although in most cases this will not be necessary. This class is still primarily intended for comparative measurements, but it allows comparison of larger test series, including comparisons between different series.
Measurement Class 1 represents the highest available quality and is suitable for load developments that make sense to control with this system. Do not expect certified laboratory-grade instrumentation, but it provides accuracy fully sufficient for demanding handloaders. We recommend regular calibration intervals depending on system usage intensity.

4. You Can Choose Extended Electronics
Standard electronics operate via a web-based application. It generates protocol files for completed measurements.
Extended electronics for BTMS include a dedicated display unit capable of oscilloscope-style visualization.

What Happens After Clicking “Process Configuration”

After completing the configuration, you have several options for how to proceed with your setup. The BTMS configurator is not an automatic ordering system – its purpose is to prepare a technically meaningful configuration and give you full control over the next steps.

After clicking the “Process Configuration” button, you will see a section displaying the total price of the selected configuration and the estimated delivery date. Below this information, the following buttons will appear:

Accept and Order. This button redirects you to the sales form, where you can place and complete your order.

Edit Configuration. This button returns you to the configurator, where you can modify your configuration and repeat the process with the updated setup.

Discard and Start Over. This button returns you to the configurator, which will be cleared of your previous selections so you can begin the entire configuration process again.

Exit. This button returns you to the main page and clears your selections from the configurator.

Explanation of Terms Used in the Configurator

Barrel Unit

A barrel unit is essentially a barrel without a chamber. It is a replaceable module designed for a specific caliber and requires a compatible chamber. Each barrel unit is mechanically independent, pressure-rated, and intended for repeated use.

Chamber

The chamber is a separate BTMS component without a barrel. The barrel unit and chamber are assembled within the BTMS body. Only this combination forms a mechanically functional system.

Safety Risk

An incorrect combination of barrel unit and chamber creates a safety conflict and almost always results in a failure that may damage the barrel unit, the chamber, and, if installed, the pressure sensor. The configurator prevents incompatible combinations within the base setup, but if you use multiple barrel units, exercise increased caution when switching calibers to ensure that the corresponding chamber is also replaced.

Manufacturing and Availability

All components used in the BTMS configurator are standardized, and we plan to maintain basic stock availability in the future. All parts are manufactured in series production. Configurations created through the configurator are automatically manufacturable.

BTMS is a product of SafeRange Technologies s.r.o. and is protected by a utility model.
The system is intended for technical load development and analysis of handloaded ammunition.
